Government Relations Practice
WFS meets the needs of businesses who operate in regulated industries. Through our Government Relations Practice, we offer our clients a wealth of experience and access. We help our clients take advantage of the information and market resources that government can make available to serve our client's business. We help clients enter new markets, sell new products or find new customers by working through the unique resources available in Washington. This is the fundamental essence of a Washington Strategy. Working with clients in the past, we have secured licenses for them, undertaken successful lobbying efforts, promoted projects and assisted in public relations efforts. Information Technology Practice
WFS facilitates the use of technologies in business through our High Technology Practice. We work with expert scientists, engineers, and researchers to find new applications for their technologies in the business world. Further, our technology team is instrumental in helping persuade regulators to license new technologies. We have also provided clients with interim CIO services and IT project management services. Entrepreneurial Enterprises Practice

INDUSTRIES

WFS has worked with clients in a range of industries. Some of the clients we have worked with have ended up with projects in more than one practice area. For example, we have provided both entrepreneurial services and high technology consulting to a client in the medical transcription business. We have undertaken government relations work and entrepreneurial work in the telemedicine field. We have developed experience in the global positioning system field, representing several firms with different GPS-based technologies. This has led to an expanding government relations practice, since so many federal agencies are involved in protecting the proper use of GPS.

Because the founders had extensive experience in the telecommunications industry prior to the firm's founding, we continue to have strong ties to telemedicine, international telecommunications and other communications technology firms. Our work in the telemedicine field has led to work with health care information privacy and security issues.

Our team has extensive experience in the non-profit sector as well. Over time, we have learned that each client is unique, with specific goals and challenges.
